The February edition of our Write & Pray Scripture Challenge is here! This month’s theme is (of course!) LOVE. Specifically, Love God. Love Others.
If you’re new to the Write & Pray Scripture Challenge, here are the simple details. Every month we focus on a specific theme. (1) Using a notebook, journal, or 3-ring binder, we write a single Bible verse daily that fits the theme. (2) Next, we write a brief prayer or thoughtful response using that verse as a prompt. It’s fun (if you wish to embellish with color, stickers, etc., go for it), it’s relaxing, and most of all, it’s encouraging to our hearts. That’s it!
Treasuring God’s Word in our hearts (see Psalm 119:11) is what we’re doing, and we’re doing it together. At the end of the year, we will each possess a beautiful, personal, and meaningful resource to which we can turn again and again.
