Hi Friends,
I’m excited to drop the May Write & Pray Scripture Challenge, because I’m pretty sure it’s just what my heart – what all hearts – need! The theme this month is “Who Is Like the LORD?” Let’s look away from all that tugs our hearts down. Let’s look away from our disappointments, the hard situations, and anything else that makes our hearts heavy (and it seems like there’s so much!) and instead let’s focus on who the Lord is.
Our hearts will be so encouraged as we learn more about and meditate on the One who loves us with an everlasting love, the One who never leaves us or forsakes us, the One who strengthens and helps us. Every verse this month includes the words “The Lord is”, and will bring fresh understanding our hearts desperately need.
When life is crazy, we don’t have to go downhill with it. We can choose to focus on the eternal, and that’s what this month’s theme is all about. I pray your heart is lifted and you gain an accurate perspective and fresh encouragement- no matter what’s going on – by focusing on the who the Lord is.
